Job Description:
The duties for this position will include but are not limited to:
Confer with clients and project managers to understand project concept and requirements.
Prepare and interpret Landscape and Irrigation design requirements.
Coordinate the arrangement of existing and proposed land features and structures.
Sketch and rough draft conceptual landscape designs.
Prepare graphic representations of proposed plans using computeraided design software.
Select appropriate materials for use in landscape designs.
Analyze environmental reports on land conditions such as drainage and energy usage.
Inspect landscape work to ensure that it adheres to original plans.
Seek new work through marketing; identify upsell opportunities and showcase solutions through presentations to prospective clients.
Participate in and facilitate teambased engagements for the completion of projects meeting deadlines and budgetary requirements.
Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in Landscape Architecture preferred but not required.
Must have 2 years of experience in professional design and project management working with teams through all design stages from concept through construction.
Computer application experience in CAD SketchUp Microsoft Office (Word Excel PowerPoint)
Must be selfmotivated anticipate the needs of clients and projects communicate effectively orally and in writing work independently and on a team
Have a broad portfolio of construction documents and/or completed projects demonstrating abilities and experience.
