Job Description
Evaluates and conducts medically prescribed physical therapy treatment programs. Provides educational information to patients in regard to injury prevention ergonomics restorative therapy and rehabilitation therapy. Supervises physical therapy assistants and aides in performing treatment.
Reports to: Director Rehab Services or Program Director IRU
Bachelors degree in Physical Therapy Required
Masters degree Preferred
Requires critical thinking skills decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Certifications:
BLS certification from approved American Heart Association or American Red Cross training center must be obtained within 90 days of employment if not current upon hire.

State of Tennessee Physical Therapist Licensure Required
One year experience as Physical Therapist Preferred
