Job Description
Work for the National Association of State Departments of Agriculture
Farmers require reliable information on production supplies marketing prices weather and a vast array of other inputs. Uptodate information is essential in planning and administration of federal and state programs. Become part of the team that collects this data across North Carolina. Work includes interviewing farmers in person or over the phone.
- Regular training is provided
- Part time flexible schedule include some evenings and weekends
- Paid hourly starting at $17.20 per hour plus occasional mileage

Intermittent parttime interviewer position available with the National Association of State Departments of Agriculture (a Fair Opportunity Employer). Expect to work no more than 4500 hours per year. During periods of data collect expect to work a full time schedule. Applicants must have a valid drivers license and access to a vehicle. Knowledge of agriculture helpful. Computer skills required. Must be comfortable approaching strangers and striking up a conversation. People skills and attention to detail are a must. Starting wage is $15/hour including training time plus the current IRS rate for miles driven. Applicants must consent to a background and motor vehicle record check .Applicants must have good communication skills and must be a good self starter. Position open until filled.
