Position Details:
PRN AVADE/WPV Instructor

Schedule varies. Must teach no less than 10 classes per year.

Nonexempt. PRN Nonbenefited position.

Position Summary:

Work as a team member to provide Instructor lead for AVADE/WPV Training to all Lake Health District employees.

Requirements

Education:

Associates degree in healthcare or safety related field OR a combination of education and relevant work experience.

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

Current instructor certification in AVADE/WPV.

Experience:

Minimum two years experience in an acute care hospital setting. Knowledge of OROSHA Healthcare Workplace Violence Prevention rules. Group or individual teaching experience preferred.

Job Knowledge:
Knowledge of AVADE/WPV training requirements.

Skills:
Ability to communicate information to both adults and children. Ability to act and communicate as an effective team member with the other instructors

Summary

Employment Requirements:

Subject to satisfactory adjudication of background investigation and/or fingerprint check.

Successful completion of 500hour probationary period.

Criminal background check and preemployment drug screen required upon conditional job offer.
