Job Description
Your tasks
- You are responsible for the electrical development design and implementation of our innovative robotic solutions.
- You design the electrical wiring and circuit boards for our robots and ensure that they comply with applicable standards.
- You supervise the products from the prototype phase through preseries production to serial production testing and documenting changes.
- You perform functional testing and troubleshooting on our robots
- You take responsibility for your work packages through to product integration keeping an eye on quality time and cost.
Requirements
- You have successfully completed a bachelors or masters degree in electrical engineering mechatronics or a comparable field of study.
- You have at least 3 years of experience in the development and design of mechatronic products ideally in the field of mobile robotics.
- You have experience with electrical safety standards and EMCcompliant design.
- You have experience in PCB design with Altium
- Experience with EPLAN P8 and Harness ProD (or other wiring tools)
- You have a handson mentality and are creative and quick to grasp new ideas.
- You have a structured and independent way of working
- Fluent in English German is a plus
- Ideally you also have experience in the following areas:
- Standards: ISO 36914 EN 1175 EN ISO 13849 IEC 610101
- Product certification processes
- Experience with SafePLCs
- Experience in CAD software (ideally Solidworks)
- Basic programming in Python C / C
