Tails A Wagn in Claremore OK is growing and ready to hire fulltime Bathing Technicians!
We offer a competitive hourly wage plus commission depending on experience. Our average price per dog is the highest in the area and in addition we offer:
Sick/PTO pay
Aflac
Medical Reimbursement
Paid Continuing Education
The DaytoDay:
Our typical schedule for Bathing Technicians is Monday through Friday starting at 6:45 am until all pets are finished usually around 2 pm to 3 pm depending on your speed and workload.
As a Bathing Technician you will start your day in the salon ready to work by 6:45 am when pets arrive. You should be professional and kind to the animals and your team of pet professionals. With a strong work ethic youll contribute to the health and beauty of the pets in your care by using effective bathing processes. You should always be willing to learn and improve your skill set.
Physical and Behavioral Requirements:
Confidently handle dogs of all sizes including large and strong breeds with care and control.
Maintain patience a goodnatured attitude and a calm demeanor even in highenergy or challenging situations.
Demonstrate physical fitness and strength with the ability to safely lift and/or carry 50 pounds.
Comfortable working in a loud environment.
Exhibit a strong work ethic professionalism and a positive attitude when interacting with pets clients and team members.
Possess mental resilience and the ability to stay composed under pressure ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for every pet.

Has a love for dogs and is passionate about pet care
Is proud to serve pets by bathing and styling their fur

Is a selfstarter with great time management skills
Enjoys working in a team environment
Demonstrates a desire to improve skills and learn new techniques
Experience in pet care is a plus but not required
Is not afraid of hard work even if it means getting a little dirty and covered in dog kisses
Interview Process:
Candidates who meet the requirements will be contacted for a multistep interview process which may include:
An initial phone screening to discuss qualifications and experience.
An inperson observation which may include a handson demonstration to observe handling and interaction with dogs of different sizes.
An inperson interview following the observation session.
We aim to hire swiftly. Candidates should be ready to start work within two weeks of receiving a job offer.
