ROLE SUMMARY: We are seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) who will report directly to the CoPresidents and serve as a critical member of the executive leadership team. The CFO will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations of the company including financial strategy forecasting risk management and compliance. This individual will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial health of the organization to support its continued growth and expansion.
RESPONSIBILITIES: - Act as a strategic partner to the CoPresidents and the senior leadership team providing financial insight and guidance on business decisions.
- Oversee all aspects of financial management including budgeting forecasting financial planning and analysis.
- Lead the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports ensuring compliance with all regulatory and tax requirements.
- Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the companys goals for growth and profitability.
- Manage cash flow including monitoring expenditures overseeing investments and ensuring optimal liquidity.
- Supervise accounting payroll and tax preparation functions to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial controls and reporting systems.
- Evaluate financial performance by analyzing data and providing actionable recommendations for improvement.
- Oversee financial risk management including insurance compliance and legal matters related to finance.
- Establish and maintain relationships with financial institutions auditors and other key stakeholders.
- Collaborate with other department heads to identify opportunities for cost reduction and revenue enhancement.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Business Administration or a related field.
- CPA designation or MBA strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 15 years of progressive financial leadership experience preferably within the hospitality industry (or adjacent).
- Deep understanding of financial regulations accounting principles and tax laws.
- Proven track record of managing complex financial operations and driving profitability.
- Strong interpersonal communication and leadership skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools including advanced Excel skills.
JOB DETAILS AND BENEFITS:
- Fulltime exempt position with office hours of 9:00 am to 6:00 pm Monday through Thursday with remote work on Fridays

- Salary: $235000 to $265000 annually depending on experience.
