Global Sales Strategy & Operations (GSSO) is the team that helps shape Gartners missioncritical sales priorities and works with sales leaders to drive tactical and analytical insights. As an associate on the GSSO team youll be at the forefront of the ongoing transformation of Gartners sales force which delivers approximately $4.9B in annual revenue and working to drive sustained doubledigit growth. You will partner with business leaders across Gartner to support a global sales force comprised of more than 5000 associates who sell to every major function industry and market sector around the world.
The role is a part of the Global Marketing team in GSSO. The Global Marketing team is focused on driving topline revenue and increasing seller productivity. The Content Specialist will join our Experiential Marketing team. This team is responsible for the strategy content planning and development logistics and of virtual and inperson sessions for Gartner prospects. These programs have become pivotal to helping our sales organization generate leads progress Sales pipeline and close opportunities. Our sessions target prospects across the marketing funnel with the goal of converting those prospects to clients.
The Content Specialist will be responsible for supporting the content planning of assigned virtual and inperson sessions and will report to the Content Manager. They should be process and detailoriented who has proven project management skills and is highly collaborative proactive innovative can work in a fastpaced environment independently and has a passion for analyzing performance data. This person should be experienced with executing a content strategy planning and developing experiences and proficient in writing and editing. This is an exciting opportunity to join Gartners leading experts to support and host live virtual and inperson sessions that showcase research and insight to thousands of professionals.
What you will do:
Host live virtual sessions including reading from a script introducing the presenter providing audience instructions covering promotional announcements and operating the 3rd party webinar platform
Support planning for the creation and development of content for assigned virtual and inperson sessions across all programs in region focusing on including contextualization tools and Client testimonials
Moderate conversations among guest speakers including internal Research and Service Delivery leads as well as Client executives for panel discussions and interviews
Identify and use best practices internal data and research insights to help inform content selection creation and recommendations while continuously focusing on market research inorder to innovate and enhance audience experience
Research and plan panel discussion and interview questions using provided templates and best practices
Update content planning presentations and manage preparatory meetings and trainings for our programs with team members stakeholders and internal/external presenters
Update Webinar and Invitational Program trackers with session specific details and data scheduling planning meetings as necessary
Prepare support and update our project communications with our Sales hosts prospective Clients Research and Service Delivery stakeholders through email document and presentation templates
Collaborate with Experiential Marketing team to find areas of optimization and innovation within program operations and/or promotional channels including email SEO web and social media
Edit scripts and abstracts to align with virtual and inperson event details and promotions
Support adhoc projects and strategic planning to improve processes maximize efficiencies pilot new programs and optimize user experience
Create ondemand only assets leveraging related existing webinars to drive leads
Support pilot of creating Generative AI virtual content
What you will need:
Bachelors degree in marketing business or related field preferred
Experience with virtual platform content preferred
25 years of marketing content development operations and/or related experience
Journalism background is a plus
Experienced user of Google Sheets Google Slides and Google Drive
Effective oral and written communication skills
High level of accuracy and proven attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
Project management mindset juggle multiple competing priorities simultaneously
Process and detailoriented approach to maximize project efficiencies in new or existing procedures
Strategic & innovative mindset that can make content suggestions based on data analysis and assessing program performance
Ability to support team members with a focus on moving projects forward in a timely efficient manner
