Embedded Software Manager

We are currently seeking an Embedded Software Manager with strong technical involvement to join our OS Software team. You would act as an Embedded Software Team Lead to join our OS Software group. This role offers the opportunity to work with advanced security and networking technologies and contribute directly to our flagship products. With a focus on OSrelated features you will engage in the full development lifecycle and testing across both software and hardware layers. The ideal candidate is technically strong highly adaptable and collaborates effectively to deliver reliable solutions.

As an Embedded Software Team Lead your responsibilities will include:

• Lead a talented team of engineers in code review bug tracking and root cause analysis.
• Implement and maintain software solutions balancing functionality performance and robustness.
• Collaborate with team members on task planning time management and project prioritization.
• Provide technical mentorship and contribute to performance evaluations.

We are looking for:

• Minimum 5 years of technical leadership experience in related fields
• Strong ability to multitask handle priority shifts and perform under pressure
• Strong debugging and problemsolving skills in networking and firewall systems
• Proficient in C programming on embedded systems and Python scripting
• Deep knowledge of Linux (user space and device drivers) as well as the development toolchain.
• Solid understanding of OS/kernel interaction; experience with hardware drivers (PC or SoC) is a plus.
• Masters degree in Computer Science Electrical Engineering or a related field.

The Canada base salary range for this fulltime position is expected to be between $170000 $200000 annually. Wage ranges are based on various factors including the labour market job type and job level. Exact salary offers will be determined by factors such as the candidates subject knowledge skill level qualifications and experience.
