The Opportunity
Adobes Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) team is looking for a Senior Risk Consultant to drive initiatives around TPRM with regard to Adobes global vendor base. The role will partner closely with team members across crossfunctional risk verticals and sourcetopay teams. The role will be responsible for delivering projects directly aligned with Adobes strategic TPRM objectives while ensuring that risk processes perform at scale and rapidly adapt to an evolving risk landscape at the company. The position will be instrumental in redefining the way risk is handled across the companys global supply base & beyond.
What youll Do
Support and drive big bet initiatives including risk monitoring & oversight risk acceptance & acceptance treatment plans Coordinate strategy on TPRM tooling including integration of procurement IRM and GRC tools for implementation support.
Provide TPRM SME support to procurement projects
Work closely with leadership and become a part of a diverse team to support the management of Adobes ThirdParty Risk Management program.
Deploy multifunctional risk data management and operational improvement initiatives.
Using a riskbased sampling approach perform an evidencebased review of vendor responses to validate the completeness and accuracy of vendor risk questionnaires.
Deploy process controls to continuously supervise and mitigate process or data gaps.
Partner with many cross functional teams across the globe within Legal finance and operations.
Ensure timely completion mitigation activities by vendors and business owners.
Perform adhoc projectbased work including reporting and analyses as the need arises.
What you need to succeed
Business Insight and Analysis:
Strong familiarity with TPRM and governance concepts
Insights into TPRM industry standard methodologies to augment functional operating models
Ability to serve as a change agent for the TPRM function across the organization
Ability to analyze large datasets and uncover insights that lead to process improvements
Ability to prioritize and structure business optimization projects
Problem Solving Skills:
Demonstrate critical thinking: i.e to analyze complex deal issues make decisions and problem solve without requiring ongoing direction setting.
Passionate about rapid value creation through quick wins and longterm balanced value creation.
A strong change manager with the tenacity to follow through to closure
Communication Skills:
Being a good communicator is crucial to the role as we look to paint exciting visuals for overall project designs and operating models to influence partners and leadership.
Experience Level:
35 years of dynamic experience in risk based roles with a focus on thirdparty risk.
Strong understanding of the TPRM lifecycle
Experience conducting compliance or risk assessments including ongoing monitoring of risk mitigation plans
Experience evaluating various certification and attestation reports (e.g.: SOC2
Indepth understanding of risk principles concepts and standard processes including risk assessment methodologies and reporting processes
Experience working with GRC tools & technologies
Bachelors degree or equivalent a must
Proficient in MS Suite (Excel PowerPoint Word SharePoint Teams (preferred)
Preferred but not essential Experience with ETL/dataprep tools like Alteryx SnapLogic etc.
At Adobe for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC base commission) and shortterm incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Nonsales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and shortterm incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition certain roles may be eligible for longterm incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
