This team is at the forefront of providing the solutions forwardlooking SMBs need to thrive utilizing Plaids product suite encompassing payments account funding transaction data fraud prevention underwriting tools and more. We are looking for a highimpact SMB Account Management Leader to drive growth team performance and innovation. The ideal candidate is a proven secondline people leader with strong business acumen a rigorous operator skilled in designing and executing scalable processes and a visionary in leveraging AI to enhance customer engagement and team efficiency. This person is responsible for hitting ambitious revenue goals and partnering closely with crossfunctional teams across Sales Product Marketing and Ops to deliver a worldclass SMB customer experience.


Responsibilities

    • Lead and inspire a highperforming teamof SMB Account Managers including people leaders fostering growth accountability and a culture of excellence.
    • Drive revenue growthby building and executing strategies that help customers scale and deepen their use of Plaids products.
    • Establish a rigorous operational rhythmto improve team efficiency including effective process design and AIpowered automation.
    • Develop and scale customer success motionsthat deliver consistent value and support for a high volume of fastgrowing SMBs.
    • Engage directly with customer executivesto build strategic relationships map key stakeholders and drive longtermpartnerships.
    • Partner crossfunctionallywith Product Sales Marketing and Ops to advocate for customer needs and influence Plaids roadmap.

Qualifications

    • Proven track record of driving revenue growth through sales account management or customer success in highgrowth technology environments ideally at a business with $50M revenue.
    • 10 years of experience including 5 years managing a revenuedriving team ideally in scaled account management or customer success.
    • 2 years managing secondline managers is strongly preferred
    • A passion for recruiting developing talent and thoughtful team planning.
    • Strong ability to articulate both technical and financial value internally across functions and externally with customers including Clevel stakeholders.
    • Excellent relationshipbuilding skills with both internal and external partners.
    • Outstanding communication skills to inspire teams align stakeholders and drive results.
    • Ability to thrive in a fastpaced highgrowth environment with a handson spy approach to building processes tools and structure as needed.
    • Brings a strong point of view on how to leverage AI in this role with genuine curiosity for emerging capabilities.

$177600 $329280 a year
The target base salary for this position ranges from $177600/year to $339280/year . The target base salary will vary based on the jobs location.

Our geographic zones are as follows:
Zone 1 New York City and San Francisco Bay Area
Zone 2 Los Angeles Seattle Washington D.C.
Zone 3 Austin Boston Denver Houston Portland Sacramento San Diego
Zone 4 RaleighDurham and all other US cities

Additional compensation in the form(s) of equity and/or commission are dependent on the position offered. Plaid provides a comprehensive benefit plan including medical dental vision and 401(k). Pay is based on factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position candidates work experience and skillset and location. Pay and benefits are subject to change at any time consistent with the terms of any applicable compensation or benefit plans.
