Raytheons Surface Based Effector Production (SBEP) Department is responsible for the delivery of affordable and innovative electrical products. Accountable for program including cost schedule and technical oversight throughout the product lifecycle. Providing resources to drive development and sustainment activities of our Land and Naval based electrical products. Our multidisciplined teams manage a variety of engineering projects while maintaining a work life balance.
What You Will Do
- Collaborate and coordinate with Operations Supply Chain Quality and other Engineering disciplines to resolve issues that may arise during production testing and integration.
- Qualified candidates must have experience with digital analog and/or RF testing and experience debugging complex circuit card assemblies or electromechanical systems. Knowledge of RF / microwave devices preferred.
- Travel Requirements: less than 10 annually
- Shift Information: 1st shift
What You Will Learn
- One will gain knowledge of various electrical components Circuit Card Assemblies RF analog digital and / or mixed signal circuit design or analysis
- One will achieve a RTX Core Certification and a Raytheon Responsible Engineer Authority (REA) Certification
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a Bachelors in Science Technology Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior Engineering experience.
- Minimum of 8 years experience with RF analog digital and/or mixed signal circuit design analysis and / or digital signal processing
- Experience in RootCause Corrective Action investigations
Qualifications We Prefer
- Experience performing electrical engineering design of CCA EO RF Seeker/Sensor or electronic subsystem; including circuit design CCA assembly electrical test and production/supplier/subtier supplier support of test equipment test automation scripting test conduction sensor control printed circuit board fabrication circuit card assembly processes and related industry specifications.
- Experience with any of the following tools: Mentor Graphics Designer PSPICE System Vision MATLAB Mathcad IDL Computer Simulation Technologies (CST) Microwave Design Studio High Frequency Structure Simulator (HFSS) Advanced Design System (ADS) Signal Generator Oscilloscope and Spectrum Analyzer.
- Familiarity with missile communication transceivers and data links inertial measurement units (IMU) and Global Positioning System (GPS) receiver subsystems.
- Experience with subsystems integration and test post test flight analysis problem investigation Statistical Process Control (SPC) methods in achieving production yield improvements technical writing formal presentation and implementing Engineering Change Notices.
- Selfstarter whos capable of working independently as well as with a small technical team. Providing technical oversight and direction cost estimation tracking & reporting coordination preparation of detailed technical team reports and proposal support.

The salary range for this role is 101000 USD 203000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.
