SUMMARY
Assists server in providing friendly and professional service to our members and guests. Promotes and follows LJBTC Inc.s Signature Service standards and requirements ensuring a lasting impression of exemplary service resulting in supremely satisfied and loyal members and guests.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
OUTCOME
This position impacts the patrons overall impression of the restaurant and the quality of the dining experience. The support aspect of the bus person position helps enable other members of Dining Room Team to focus on guest needs and expectation.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Less than high school education; or up to onemonth related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions short correspondence and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information to customers clients and other employees of the organization. Must have the ability to communicate with customers fluently in English.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add and subtract twodigit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10s and 100s. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement volume and distance.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
CERTIFICATES LICENSES REGISTRATIONS
Must have and maintain current Food Handlers Card.

The employee must constantly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds including carrying heavy food trays. Occasionally employees may be required to lift up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include to ability to adjust focus.

While performing the duties of this job the employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions fumes or airborne particles toxic or caustic chemicals and risk of electrical shock burns from hot equipment and lacerations from sharp objects. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud. The pace is generally moderate and may be quite fast.

INTERACTION
Daily interaction with managers supervisors service kitchen personnel and customers. Periodic interaction with purchasing and other department personnel.
SCHEDULING
This company operates seven days a week 24 hours a day. Shifts will generally be rotated as much as possible to be fair to everyone. At times it may be necessary to move you from your accustomed shift if business or task assignments demand. In addition it should be understood that business needs determine the number of hours that you work.
