In this position you will be responsible for preparing comprehensive written reports detailing the activities of CDL examiners and ThirdParty Testing as well as drafting letters and memoranda to address inquiries from various stakeholders including the general public government officials industry representatives and others. A solid understanding of contractual compliance and auditing standards is essential as you will assess the performance of ThirdParty organizations in relation to their contractual obligations. You will also oversee the process that allows ThirdParty Testing Programs to access the Commercial Skills Test Information Management System (CSTIMS). Additionally you will evaluate the performance of CDL examiners against established benchmarks and ensure the maintenance of a dependable reporting system for all activities. Your role will involve providing technical support and advocating for driver licensing and safety education initiatives. It is crucial to ensure that all Departmental and PennDOT Maintenance examiners adhere to Federal standards concerning examiner training. You will interpret regulations from the Departments Vehicle Code and maintain updated files on ThirdParty operations to ensure compliance with Federal standards. Collaboration with the CDL ThirdParty Audit Manager will be key to ensuring that ThirdParty Testers and Examiners meet both Federal and contractual requirements.
