We are looking for you if you:
- have proven experience in IT system maintenance and development especially in teams.
- have an understanding of Java and its ecosystem with the ability to implement occasional enhancements or fixes.
- have knowledge of Oracle databases with a focus on optimizing queries and database performance.
- are familiar with the architecture and functioning of Java applications utilizing large memory environments.
- have experience with monitoring tools like Grafana and Prometheus to ensure system stability and performance.
- have problemsolving mindset capable of analyzing complex issues and proposing effective solutions.
- have excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
- are fluent in English (min. B2
Youll get extra points for:
- Experience with Azure DevOps and building CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of RHEL JBoss and Ansible.
- Background in IT security and analytics.
Your responsibilities:
- Maintain and optimize a critical antifraud service operating across multiple ING branches.
- Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to enhance system performance and security.
- Occasionally implement features or resolve issues in Java.
- Support database optimization and ensure smooth application operations.
- Contribute to a teamoriented Agile environment (Scrum framework).
