Job Description
We are interviewing qualified Combo Pipe Welders for immediate positions on a commercial hospital new construction and renovation project in Midland Texas. This is a longterm opportunity with a reputable contractor offering consistent work and strong project pipelines.
Position Details:
- Location: Midland TX
- Project Types: New construction and renovation of a hospital
- Duration: Longterm employment
- Schedule: Fulltime hours
- Compensation: Competitive pay based on experience
- Per Diem: Generous weekly per diem for food and lodging (for travelers)
Job Duties:
- Perform combination welding on copper stainless steel and cast iron piping systems.
- Follow project specifications blueprints and welding procedures.
- Fabricate fit and install piping assemblies according to project requirements.
- Maintain a high standard of workmanship to meet hospitalgrade construction standards.
Requirements:
- Specific experience welding: copper pipe stainless steel and cast iron.
- Skills Test: Candidates must successfully pass a weld test prior to starting work.
- Tools Required: Must have personal torch tips and kits (Btanks will be provided by the company).
- Strong understanding of commercial piping systems and mechanical construction processes.
- Ability to work safely efficiently and maintain a professional attitude on a healthcare project.
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and isometric drawings is preferred.
