Job Description
Infosys is seeking JAVA Architect. This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation Application Architecture definition and Design; play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts; deliver high quality code deliverables for a module lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation transition and warranty; be part of a learning culture where teamwork and collaboration are encouraged excellence is rewarded and diversity is respected and valued.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.

Required Qualifications:
- Candidate must be located within commuting distance ofAustin TXor be willing to relocate to the area prior to onboarding.
- Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent required from accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
- At least 7 years of experience in Information Technologies .
- Should have at least 6 plusyears of experience in project lifecycles on development & maintenance projects estimation methodologies quality processes.
- Should handle development/design projects using Java J2EE Oracle JavaScript SpringRESTful web services and microservices
- All applicants authorized to work in the United States are encouraged to apply
Preferred Qualifications:
- Should contribute to the technical design for development projects by reviewing and understanding the high level functional specifications
- Should study user requirement develop specifications design review code and implement systems in line with Group standards and regulatory requirements IN ORDER TO meet user (business) requirements
- Should Plan define and develop proof of concepts
- Should have good understanding of unit testing methodologies and should conduct unit testing using automated unit test frameworks.
- Should possess excellent analytical and communication skills.
