Job Description
Minutemen Direct has direct hire openings for CNC Machinist on 1st 2nd and weekend shifts. Must be able to run large machining centers either VTL or HBM edit and maintain CNC programs and perform machine setup and operation. Pay is starting at $30 per hour and goes up BOE. MondayThursday schedule.
1st shift Hours 5:00AM3:30PM 1
2nd shift Hours 3:30PM2:00AM 2
Weekend Hours 6AM6:00PM (FRI SATSUN) 1
Summary of role:
Review engineering prints select and acquire appropriate tooling.
Edit and maintain CNC programs.
Perform machine setup and operation.
Implement continuous improvement.
Inspection and measurement of machined components.
Train and develop less experienced machinists.
Requirements
A minimum of 35 years experience in component CNC machining. (Prefer 10 years)
Dealt with lower run quantities per part.
Ability to interpret blueprint/drawing specifications and GD&T.
Applied experience with various inspection methods (hand gages CMM etc.
Proven ability to develop the machining skills of others.
Proficiency with AutoCAD and Fanuc Siemens G code programming.
Overhead crane operation and rigging experience
Basic computer skills for email webbased communication
