Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Plant Supervisor to oversee daily operations in our plastic film production facility. The ideal candidate will have handson experience with plastic film types such as HDPE LDPE and a solid understanding of processes like blown film extrusion. This role requires strong leadership skills problemsolving ability and a commitment to maintaining production efficiency and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage a team of production workers across assigned shifts.
- Ensure smooth daytoday operations of the plant adhering to quality and safety standards.
- Monitor production schedules output and quality metrics to ensure timely delivery.
- Identify production issues and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.
- Optimize workflow by introducing process improvements and efficiencyenhancing initiatives.
- Coordinate with maintenance and quality control teams to ensure minimal downtime and consistent product quality.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment in compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Train and guide team members to enhance their skills and productivity.
Requirements:
- 25 years of experience in a production or supervisory role within the plastic manufacturing industry.
- Strong experience with HDPE LDPE and/or blown film extrusion processes is highly valued.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts as per production demands.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Diploma or Bachelors degree in Mechanical Industrial or Production Engineering (or relevant field).
- Prior experience working in a fastpaced highvolume production environment.
