Job Description

We are searching for a Solder Technician in Dallas TX .

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
  • Solder Rework: Fine soldering down toand CSP small batch builds prototyping making wire harnesses and coaxial cable assemblies ordering rework equipment and consumables. High level of experience with soldering iron and hot air reflow a must.
  • Lab organization: Ordering and organizing shelves and cupboards components cables consumables and PCBA stocking maintain log.
  • Test equipment management: Calibration in accordance with company procedure manage calibration contract and scheduling maintenance SW/FW updates rentals new equipment ordering.
  • Lab ESD compliance: Bench mats wrist straps ESDsafe furniture etc. in accordance with company procedure schedule professional cleaning.
  • Lab IT: equipment networking and liaison with IT for troubleshooting networking issues.
  • Quality: Diagnose and document build issues and liaise with boards team on corrective actions.
  • Manage workshop area ordering tools keeping clean and tidy oversee safety and liaison with EHS. Design and print 3D plastic articles in support of experiments.
  • Build and maintain anechoic test environments. Build and maintain robotic testers.
  • Test support: support running tests and board bringup activities.
Qualifications Minimum Requirements:
  • Previous experience soldering both new and rework jobs
  • Experience troubleshooting boards remove bad components and replace
  • Experience using microscope to solder
  • Background in either IC Board or mobile phone repair soldering
  • Associates in Electronics desired or 4 years in military electronics repair
