About Synergy Cells
Synergy Cells is looking for talented individuals to support our Joint Venture between General Motors and Samsung SDI. In this new hightechnology facility Synergy Cells will cultivate the latest in battery cell manufacturing technology. With an investment of over $3.5 billion Synergy Cells will be producing battery cells for GM electric vehicles.
Selected candidates will have the opportunity to learn new skills as well as influence processes and systems that will sustain industry leading performance. This role will be onsite and support our facility in New Carlisle Indiana.
The Role:
The Quality Operations Manager has responsibility for a large group of employees tasked with executing the Global Quality System within the plant. Within the department they will be working to coach and teach the Quality Operations Team on how to function within a BIQ IV environment while also ensuring the integrity of the Quality System being exercised within the production departments. Core responsibility of this role involves a considerable amount of initiative in decision making and acting as the voice of the customer. Additionally it is accompanied by a high level of independent judgment as well as the ability to develop strong relationships across the functional areas and within the JV environment.

Company Vehicle: Upon successful completion of a motor vehicle report review you will be eligible to participate in a company vehicle evaluation program through which you will be assigned a General Motors vehicle to drive and evaluate. Note: program participants are required to purchase/lease a qualifying GM vehicle every four years unless one of a limited number of exceptions applies.
This position may be eligible for relocation benefits.
