Summary:
The Field Safety Supervisor will be responsible for enforcing safety policies conducting field inspections and ensuring compliance with OSHA ANSI and other applicable regulations. This role requires handson leadership in highrisk environments including heavy lifting operations rigging and construction site management.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct safety inspections and audits on sites involving construction turnarounds and Crane & Rigging operations.
- Enforce compliance with OSHA ANSI NCCCO and other industry standards.
- Develop and implement job hazard analyses (JHAs) and safety plans.
- Train employees on proper safety procedures equipment operation and emergency response.
- Investigate incidents and nearmisses provide reports and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor crane and rigging operations to ensure safe lift plans are followed.
- Work closely with site supervisors project managers and crews to foster a strong safety culture.
- Ensure all safety documentation is maintained including permits JSAs inspections and certifications.
- Conduct toolbox talks safety meetings and emergency drills.
- Assist in prejob planning including lift planning and risk assessments.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum 35 years of field safety experience in construction and crane & rigging environments.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of OSHA 1926 ANSI B30 ASME and industryspecific safety guidelines.
- Physical: Ability to work in various outdoor conditions climb ladders and stand for extended periods. Carry up to 50 lbs.
- Skills: Strong communication leadership and problemsolving abilities.

Preferences:
- Experience: Experience with new construction heavy lift operations load charts and crane safety.
- Certifications: OSHA 30/OSHA 500 NCCCO (Crane Signal Person/Rigger) First Aid/CPR CSP CHST.
