As a Warehouse Associate you will stage load and unload finished product and raw materials. You will also stock and maintain warehouse inventory.
What youll do:
Ensure product is in proper locations place product in correct bin locations and assist manager in assigning locations
Maintain a clean organized and safe warehouse environment at all times.
Assist with cycle counting throughout the year maintain proper inventory levels and notify the appropriate personnel when stock is low.
Load/unload structural components onto/off delivery trucks.
Visually inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage and verify quantities delivered against packing slip for accuracy
Prep and assemble structure components that can be preassembled prior to deployment.
Operate a forklift to move heavy equipment and structural components safely and efficiently.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid drivers license with acceptable driving record
Previous warehouse experience
Experience as warehouse working in the construction rental industry
Forklift certification
Strong team player with the ability to work independently as needed
Ability to make decisions and solve problems
Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.
This position is deemed Safety Sensitive for purposes of United Rentals policies and procedures.
