As a Medical Laboratory Scientist or Laboratory Technician duties are to perform laboratory tests; interpret results; documents and reports results. Maintains department equipment instruments and tools.
Education
- Bachelors in medical technology or Biology/Chemical Science
- Associates degree in Medical Technology
Certification/Licensure
- ASCP or AMT certification
- Eligible for certification
Sentara Princess Anne Hospital located in Virginia Beach VA is a Magnet Status general medical and surgicalfacility with 160 hospital offers a fullservice emergency room with a dedicated observation unit Critical Care Oncology and Stroke services. It also encompasses a Family Maternity Center with an Onsite Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
