The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $30 to $35.0 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location education experience knowledge and skills.
Tasks and Qualifications:
What You Will Do In This Role
- Repair and maintain Material Handling Equipment (MHE) including tasks such as belt tracking component adjustment/replacement and component lubrication.
- Perform preventative maintenance routines and complete associated documentation and procedures.
- Apply electrical test equipment to troubleshoot and resolve electrical circuitry issues.
- Build and close work orders in the asset management system accurately recording labor hours equipment maintenance and parts used.
- Troubleshoot semicomplex problems and determine the necessary resources for resolution.
- Track and manage spare parts inventory.
- Conduct routine maintenance and equipment testing to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Respond to service calls and address equipment failures and faults promptly.
- Identify and solve problems as they arise to maintain operational efficiency.
- Foster positive working relationships across all levels of the organization.
What We Are Looking For
- High School diploma or equivalent experience required. An Associate degree or equivalent experience is preferred and specialized skill training/certification is advantageous.
- General knowledge of a technical or specialty area with proven experience in the responsibilities outlined above.
- Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 pounds and occasionally push and pull wheeled dollies loaded with products weighing up to 100 pounds.
- Functional dexterity in both hands and wrists.
- Capability to climb ladders and gangways safely and without limitation.
- Capable of working in different environments: small spaces dust fumes hot/cold temperatures noise vibration standing on concrete wet or uneven surfaces.
- Must be able to stand/walk for up to 1012 hours.
- Flexibility to cover multiple shifts and work holiday hours as needed.
