Job Description: Provide programming website and software development support for multiple programs at the NASA Langley research Center. Earlytomidcareer computer scientists are encouraged to apply to bring their programming expertise to the NASA mission. Responsibilities include the development and maintenance of a formbased website for a NASA organization that tracks work products as they progress through the organizations review process; develop and maintain website for archiving drawings manuals and calibration data associated with the machines and instruments in NASAs Materials Research Laboratory; and create Pythonbased desktop application that is used by researchers to produce publication quality plots from the database of Mechanical Property data belong to NASAs CarbonCarbon laboratory.

Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess capabilities and expertise across a range of software languages including C C Fortran Java JavaScript HTML Ruby and Python and familiarity with UNIX Windows NT and Mac OS X operating systems. Software systems that are relevant to these requirements include Subversion MySQL Java Swing Ruby on Rails MatLab ABAQUS PATRAN and HyperSizer.
