The WOC Epic EHR Information Systems Program Supervisor leads technical teams collaborates with stakeholders and manages vendor relationships to optimize the Epic system and support its users ensuring alignment with organizational goals and effective clinical care delivery.

As the WOC Epic EHR Information Systems Program Supervisor you will:

  • Lead and Develop Technical Teams: Supervises CSI unit staff fostering a culture of quality improvement through coaching resource management and performance oversight.

  • Provide Expert Clinical Systems Support and Optimization: Serves as a subject matter expert offering technical support promoting best practices resolving complex issues and utilizing datadriven quality improvement methodologies across a broad portfolio of clinical applications.

  • Facilitate Effective Business Analyst Engagement: Coaches BAs to analyze user needs troubleshoot problems implement system configurations manage vendor relationships and demonstrate value delivery through documentation improvement tracking and communication with stakeholders.

  • Manage EHR Application Lifecycle and Support: Oversees all technical aspects of EHR applications including evaluation design testing implementation upgrades support and maintenance while ensuring system reliability and resolving complex issues.

  • Lead Ticket Management and Collaboration: Manages the ServiceNow ticketing system for the Clinical Information Systems team ensures timely resolution of incidents and fosters effective collaboration with OCHIN and internal stakeholders.

  • Coordinate Training Testing and Documentation: Collaborates on enduser training leads testing efforts for system changes and ensures the creation and maintenance of comprehensive documentation and knowledge bases.

  • Manage Staffing and Performance: Oversees hiring ensures adequate staffing levels conducts timely performance evaluations supports employee professional growth clarifies roles and responsibilities and promotes highperformance standards.

  • Ensure Compliance and Budget Oversight: Assists in analyzing and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations monitors budget development and administration and manages resource allocation for the program.

Minimum Qualifications/Transferable Skills*:

Education/Training: Equivalent to a bachelors degree (In lieu of a degree we will consider relevant education and experience); AND

Experience: Three 3 to six 6 years of experience that demonstrates the abilities to perform the duties of the position.

Inclement Weather and Disasters Serving the Public Even During Disasters:

Everyday Multnomah County staff work together to serve as a safety net for our communities. During a disaster this safety net becomes even more critical. All County employees have a role in serving the public during inclement weather natural disaster or other types of community emergency response. During these emergency responses while typically there begins with a call for volunteers county employees may ultimately be reassigned from their current position to a role in the emergency response in order to support the critical needs presented by our communities. Type of Position: This position is not eligible for overtime.

Location: Gladys McCoy Building 619 NW 6th Ave Portland OR 97209. This position is eligible for routine telework however the incumbent must reside in Oregon or Washington.

Schedule: Monday Friday 8am 5pm
