We are seeking a talented and experienced Art Teacher to join the vibrant and highlyregarded Art Department at a prestigious independent school in Northamptonshire. Your Role

As a key member of our Art Department you will:

• Teach Art and Design across Key Stages 35 including preparation for GCSE and ALevel examinations.

• Deliver inspiring lessons in a variety of media including painting drawing sculpture printmaking and digital art.

• Encourage critical thinking independence and experimentation through a rich and varied curriculum.

• Support students with portfolio development particularly those applying to art foundation courses and top universities.

• Take an active role in the schools cultural life including exhibitions competitions and crosscurricular projects.

• Contribute to the departments strategic development and enrichment programme including clubs workshops and gallery visits.

What Were Looking For

We are seeking a confident and committed teacher who:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a strong academic background in Art & Design.

• Has significant experience teaching Art ideally in a selective or independent school setting.

• Is passionate about art education and committed to helping students develop their skills and creative identity.

• Demonstrates excellent subject knowledge classroom practice and assessment ability across all key stages.

• Can contribute to the wider life of the school including extracurricular activities and school events.

• Has excellent interpersonal and organisational skills with a collaborative approach to department and school life.
