Job Description
We are seeking a MRI Technologist for a 13week travel/contract assignment in Burlington MA 01805.
Job Details:
- Weekly Pay Rate: $2240 $2400
Shift: Variable Shifts 32 Hours/Week
- Tuesday: 11:00 PM 7:30 AM
- Friday: 7:00 PM 7:30 AM
- Saturday: 7:00 AM 7:30 AM
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate MRI scanners to obtain highquality diagnostic images as per physician orders.
- Explain procedures to patients and ensure comfort and safety during imaging.
- Select appropriate imaging parameters and sequences based on protocols.
- Monitor patient condition during procedures and respond to emergencies if needed.
- Review images for clarity and completeness before submitting for physician review.
- Maintain accurate patient records including documentation of procedures performed.
- Ensure MRI equipment is functioning properly; report any malfunctions.
- Follow safety protocols especially regarding MRI safety zones and ferromagnetic screening.
Education & Experience Requirements:
Education:
-
Graduate of an accredited imaging program
- 3 5 years of MRI experience preferred
- Philips MRI system experience highly desirable
- Experience with ED inpatient and vented patient MRI scans preferred
Certifications & Licensure:
- ARRT (MR) Required
- ARRT (R) Required
- BLS Certification (Basic Life Support) from AHA (required).
