Overview
The Salesforce Developer plays a crucial role in our organization by designing and implementing innovative solutions on the Salesforce platform. This position involves working directly with stakeholders to understand their business needs and translating them into technical requirements. The Salesforce Developer is responsible for customizing Salesforce applications improving system performance and ensuring best practices in code development. As a key member of the development team you will contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of Salesforce utilization within the company. With the rapid growth of our client base the ability to develop scalable and efficient applications on the Salesforce platform is paramount. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical foundation expertise in Salesforce technology and a passion for problemsolving. Key Responsibilities
- Design and customize Salesforce applications to meet business requirements.
- Develop Apex classes triggers and Visualforce pages.
- Implement Lightning components and Salesforce integrations.
- Collaborate with teams to gather requirements and provide technical input.
- Create and optimize SOQL queries for data retrieval.
- Manage and deploy code changes through version control systems.
- Conduct unit testing and peer code reviews to ensure quality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Salesforce applications.
- Maintain documentation for development processes and user guides.
- Keep up with Salesforce releases and new features.
- Assist in user training and provide technical support.
- Participate in Agile development processes and sprint planning.
- Ensure compliance with Salesforce best practices and methodologies.
- Monitor system performance and implement optimizations.
- Engage in continuous learning to enhance Salesforce skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems or related field.
- Proven experience as a Salesforce Developer (minimum 3 years).
- Expert in Apex Visualforce and Lightning frameworks.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture and data models.
- Experience with Salesforce APIs for integration purposes.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Proficiency in JavaScript and web technologies.
- Solid grasp of SOQL and Salesforce Object Query Language.
- Experience with version control systems like Git.
- Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Platform Developer I or II.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Understanding of Salesforce security best practices.
- Willingness to adapt and learn new technology.
