Job Summary
The Business Analyst (BA) EWM is responsible for analyzing business needs within operations to elicit highlevel requirements capture business needs identify problems and propose solutions. The role involves working closely with business partners to understand technology solutions define user requirements promote architectural consistency and ensure usability standards. Additionally the BA will define and execute test cases identify process improvements and collaborate with the IT team to enhance business processes using ERP process improvement techniques robotic process automation or other methods.
The BA will act as a liaison between IT and business units ensuring alignment of business processes and technology solutions to achieve operational excellence.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Identify business process improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate with and influence business partners effectively.
- Participate in ERP discovery build test and deployment activities.
- Define business requirements with measurable outcome criteria and metrics.
- Map business processes and identify areas for optimization.
- Translate user requirements into functional requirements for project teams.
- Identify and resolve issues efficiently.
- Maintain training documentation and conduct user training sessions.
- Ensure proper usage of the ERP system through guidance and training.
Travel Requirements
- Initial onsite visit to the Sanand office for at least 2 weeks.
- A 46 week trip to Ohio USA to learn Allied s global SAP configuration.
- 2week trips to international locations for training/localization and golive support.
- Periodic visits to Sanand 12 weeks) based on project needs.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelors degree in Business Administration Computer Science Finance Information Systems or a related field; equivalent experience considered.
- Experience:
- 35 years as a Business Analyst (preferred).
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA (highly preferred) or SAP ECC and other versions.
- Experience with SAP EWM (preferred) or IM/WM modules; familiarity with PP modules is advantageous.
- Broad IT domain knowledge in areas like Applications Development Enterprise Architecture Project Management Vendor Management QA Infrastructure and Maintenance.
- Proven ability to convert business and functional requirements into use cases and user stories.

- Dependable and punctual with a willingness to work unusual hours if needed.
Shift Hours
- Indian Hours: 8:30 AM to 5:15 PM (IST).
- US Hours:
- 5:00 AM to 2:00 PM (EST) OR
- 3:00 AM to 12:00 PM (EST).
Shift timings are subject to change based on business requirements.
