Job Description
School Nurse (RN) NYC Public Schools (All Boroughs)
- $40 $45 per hour
- Schoolday hours (typically 8 AM 3 PM) No nights weekends or holidays!

- Provide general nursing coverage in NYC public schools.
- Administer medications and first aid as needed.
- Monitor students with chronic conditions such as asthma diabetes and allergies.
- Respond to emergencies and ensure students receive appropriate care.
- Maintain accurate health records in compliance with NYC DOE and NYS regulations.
- Collaborate with school staff and parents to support student health needs.
Qualifications:
- Valid New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- CPR and First Aid certification (required).
- Experience in pediatrics school nursing or community health is a plus.
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills.
