Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Lead the preparation and reconciliation of general ledger accounts journal entries and cash positions.
Participate in monthly quarterly and annual financial closings to ensure accurate and timely reporting in compliance with IFRS.
Monitor and maintain balance sheet reconciliations to reflect true financial position.
Oversee taxrelated activities including preparation filing and responding to related inquiries in collaboration with consultants and internal teams.
Ensure internal control processes are followed mitigating risk and safeguarding company assets.
Maintain uptodate documentation and auditready records for all accounting transactions.
Prepare and manage prepayment and amortization schedules ensuring proper period allocations.
Support budget monitoring and variance analysis promoting accountability across departments.
Identify and implement improvements in financial systems and processes for enhanced efficiency and accuracy.
Collaborate with other departments to provide timely and accurate financial information for decisionmaking.
Requirements
Qualification and Key Competencies
Bachelor of Science degree in accounting or its equivalent from an accredited higher institution.
A qualified Accountant ACA ACCA
Master s in accounting or a related field is an added advantage
Excellent project management and budget management skills.
