Job Description
Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Senior Cloud and System Engineer to join our IT team. This role requires advanced expertise in the operation maintenance and monitoring of enterprise IT infrastructure to ensure its availability reliability and optimal performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hyperconverged infrastructure network systems and cloud environments with handson experience managing complex systems and resolving highlevel technical issues.
Key Responsibilities:
Design implement and manage scalable and secure IT infrastructure across onpremises and cloud environments.
Operate maintain and monitor core IT infrastructure to ensure high availability performance and resilience.
Administer and troubleshoot Nutanix HCI clusters for optimal performance and scalability.
Configure and manage Huawei topofrack switches Cisco Layer 3 core switches and Layer 2 switch stacks.
Oversee the configuration and deployment of Fortinet FortiAP wireless access points.
Participate in infrastructure planning and capacity management to support growth and performance objectives.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to support infrastructure needs for applications and services.
Implement and maintain system and network security controls in compliance with organizational policies.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and support staff.
Develop and maintain documentation for systems configurations and standard operating procedures.
Monitor and respond to system alerts analyze logs and proactively resolve infrastructure issues.
Requirements
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Systems or a related field.
5 years of experience in system and network administration in a largescale enterprise IT environment.
Indepth knowledge of Nutanix HCI infrastructure and its management tools.
Handson experience with Huawei network switches (ToR) and Cisco L2/L3 switches.
Practical experience with Fortinet FortiAP access point deployment and maintenance.
Strong understanding of virtualization (e.g. VMware AHV) networking storage and cloud technologies.
Excellent troubleshooting analytical and problemsolving skills.
Familiarity with IT monitoring tools and system health metrics.
