As a member of our sales leadership team you will build and drive your sales teams to exceed company objectives while growing your region according to plan. Youll be responsible for building a highperformance sales culture that delivers results focuses on customer adoption while simultaneously mentoring and developing your team members to accomplish individual and organizational goals. It will be required that you are involved with your team track sales activity create and analyze metrics for forecast accuracy.
Reporting into the SVP of Cortex Cloud Sales North America The RVP Cortex Cloud Sales Majors organization is responsible for leading a team of talented district sales managers and sellers focused on increasing the Palo Alto Networks market share within the US.
We are seeking someone who is driven and excited for the opportunity to build and lead some of the key relationships. You will lead a highly motivated team to successfully strategize and execute against the goals and sales targets for the business. You will work closely and collaboratively with our sales and ecosystem teams to develop GTM plans including bookings and pipeline goals as well as executing the plans. In this role you will not only drive the growth of our cloud security solutions but also provide essential leadership in integrating cloud security into our broader sales strategy. Your ability to align cloud security with our companys goals and drive results will be crucial to our success in this critical area of technology and security.
Your Impact
Team Leadership Lead and develop a team of District Sales Managers who are dedicated to promoting and selling cloud security solutions
Revenue Growth Take ownership of driving revenue outcomes within the assigned region exceeding personal and team sales quotas and goals by emphasizing cloud security offerings
Overlay Sales Leadership Collaborate closely with our broader sales leadership team to ensure cloud security is effectively integrated into our overall sales strategy Work with sales leaders from various departments to align cloud security objectives with the companys overarching goals
Sales Strategy Review weekly forecasts and business outcomes with representatives and sales leaders crafting strategies that align with our cloud security and overall sales objectives
Mentorship Coach develop and mentor representatives in all aspects of the sales cycle related to cloud security including lead generation qualification forecasting and closing opportunities while leveraging our channel/partner network
DataDriven Insights Build sales analyses to gain insights into weekly monthly and quarterly and strategies specifically focused on cloud security
Collaboration Attend weekly regional forecast and management calls to provide your perspective and collaborate closely with other District Sales Managers on crafting a business strategy that aligns with our cloud security and overall sales objectives
Continuous Learning Stay knowledgeable and uptodate on cloud security products industry changes and competitive landscapes
Innovation Demonstrate a proven ability to bring disruptive innovation to the senior sales team fostering and promoting a growthmindset specifically in the realm of cloud security
Qualifications :
Your Experience
Leadership Demonstrated secondline leadership experience including leading District Sales Managers and their teams.
Sales Success Proven experience in exceeding sales quotas with a track record of hiring developing and retaining successful sales talent particularly in cloud security and SecOps products.
Security Expertise Substantial experience in selling Enterprise Security solutions with a deep understanding of the technology landscape especially as it pertains to cloud security and SecOps.
Partner Ecosystem Knowledgeable about the partner ecosystem (system integrators channel partners service providers) with a focus on developing a gotomarket strategy for cloud security and SecOps solutions.
Complex Solution Sales Familiarity with Complex Solution Sales methodologies particularly in sophisticated 6figure transaction sizes and above.
Technical and Business Acumen Indepth knowledge of how relevant major and global companies leverage security solutions with the ability to help translate complex technical benefits into solutions for business problems.
Experience selling SIEM EDR or CNAPP (DevSecOps CloudOps) solutions is highly preferred.
Passion for Innovation A demonstrated passion for cybersecurity and excitement about scaling emerging technology within a fastpaced environment.
CrossFunctional Relationships Experience in building strong crossfunctional relationships across clients partners and internal teams.
Travel Willingness to travel up to 70 within the region as needed to support cloud security and SecOps initiatives.

Compensation Disclosure
The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications experience and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level the starting base salary (for nonsales roles) or base salary commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected to be between $464000 $542000/YR. The offered compensation may also include restricted stock units and a bonus. A description of our employee benefits may be found here.
