Overview
The Senior Software Engineer (Frontend) plays a crucial role in our development team driving the creation of engaging highperformance user interfaces for our web applications. As a senior member of the engineering team you will collaborate with UI/UX designers product managers and other stakeholders to deliver seamless and intuitive experiences that delight our users. Your expertise in modern JavaScript frameworks particularly React will enable you to contribute significantly to the technical vision and implementation of our frontend architectures. You will be responsible for leading projects from inception to deployment mentoring junior engineers and identifing best practices in development processes to enhance code quality and maintainability. In addition you will be expected to stay ahead of industry trends and technologies ensuring our team remains competitive and innovative. This role not only requires strong technical expertise but also excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate across teams. Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement complex user interfaces using React and related technologies.
- Collaborate with designers to translate visual concepts into functional user interfaces.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Write clean maintainable and efficient code.
- Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices in coding.
- Mentor and guide junior developers during project .
- Integrate RESTful APIs and services into frontend applications.
- Debug and troubleshoot frontend issues across various browsers and devices.
- Work closely with product management to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Implement responsive design principles to ensure compatibility across devices.
- Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning.
- Document development processes and technical designs for reference.
- Enhance existing applications with new features based on user feedback.
- Collaborate with backend developers to define and consume APIs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in frontend development.
- Proficient in HTML CSS and JavaScript with a strong understanding of web standards.
- Extensive experience with React and its ecosystem including Redux React Router etc.
- Experience with modern build tools and package managers like Webpack and npm.
- Solid understanding of performance optimization techniques for web applications.
- Familiarity with responsive design frameworks like Bootstrap or MaterialUI.
- Experience with version control systems particularly Git.
- Strong analytical skills with a problemsolving mindset.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and practices.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
- Ability to work effectively in teams as well as independently.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.
- Prior experience with TypeScript is a plus.
