Job Description
Valperca SA the leading pike perch and perch producer in Switzerland is looking for a fish farming technician for its warmwater RAS growout facility in Susten & Raron in the canton of Valais/Switzerland
Tasks
- Work in production (e.g. feeding grading cleaning)
- Monitoring fish stocks and important plant parameters
- Assistance in the maintenance and repair of technical equipment
- Oncall and weekend duties alternating with colleagues
- Assist in processing when needed
Requirements
- Reliability commitment and physical strength
- A strong sense of responsibility and respect for the animals
- Ability to work and positively communicate in a team and to work independently
- Willingness to learn and the will to understand the processes in the plant
- Experience in and creative mechanical problem solving as a plus
- Good level of German and/or English is required
- Driving license is needed
- Swiss or EU citizenship is mandatory for obtaining a work permit for this position
