As a Buyer (m/f/d) you will support us in the product development and buying processes of our own brand EDITED the label. You will get to know the processes behind a fashion conscious brand and bring in your good organization skills and knowledge of the fashion market.
The position is a fixedterm role to cover parental leave. It is primarily offered on a fulltime basis; however parttime arrangements starting from 32 hours per week are also negotiable.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborating closely with the design team to develop and shape our collections
- Managing the sourcing and development of products including attending style fittings
- Handling daily communication and coordination with suppliers
- Confirming order quantities setting selling prices and leading price negotiations to ensure seasonal profitability targets are met
- Analyzing product performance and initiating inseason reorders based on sales data
Requirements:
- University degree in Textile or Business Management (or a comparable qualification)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in womens contemporary or fast fashion textile buying
- Experience in knitwear buying is a strong plus
- Confident user of MS Excel
- Passion for fashion and a keen eye for trends
- Team player with a handson mentality
- Entrepreneurial mindset is a plus
- Highly motivated flexible and detailoriented
- Wellstructured and organized working style
