Job Description
Purpose of Position:
- Assist maintenance technicians with projects and repairs. Maintain all mechanical/electrical/electronic equipment at an optimum operating condition to ensure maximum production and product quality as set by production line standards as well as the equipment manufacturers projected standards.
Essential Functions:
- Troubleshoot repair and perform preventative maintenance on all assigned electronic/mechanical equipment
- Support plant maintenance repair work related to plumbing sheet metal pneumatics electrical and electronics including PLC and microprocessors.
- Assist other crews as needed maintain safety housekeeping and sanitation standards in accordance with GMPs SSOPs and USDA requirements.
- Troubleshoot by utilizing blueprints and electrical schematics.
Qualifications :
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Must be able to work at heights up to 15 feet
- Must be able to climb steps and ladders
- Must be able to work in tight areas
- Must be able to work with hand tools
- Must be able to communicate in English
- Must be able to work weekends on a frequent basis
- Start shift/location may vary
- Must be able to submit and pass a criminal background check.
