Job Description
Whether youre a night owl or early bird if you like to problem solve rather than troubleshoot youll fit right in with our Systems Assembly Technicians. They can (and) do a little bit of everything. Utilizing a variety of skills from plumbing to electrical and everything in between you will be a part of the final assembly team responsible for bringing JST designs to life.
Youll know youll be successful at JST in our Systems Integration department if you:
- Accurately interpret engineering drawings and perform plumbing wiring and assembly to meet functionality and specification requirements.
- Utilize a computer and shop floor control software to accurately track job labor and material usage.
- Troubleshoot components at start up and maintain a low failure rate.
- Competently use measuring instruments and diagnostic devices and contribute to JSTs quality program by following quality procedures.
- Understand and follow company procedures and act in a safe manner in a manufacturing environment.
- Maintain stewardship of equipment and contribute to the maintenance and cleanliness of the shop and equipment.
- Perform miscellaneous tasks as required to support manufacturing engineering quality and quoting departments.
TRANSFERABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCES
- Mechanical skills working on complex systems such as: automotive mechanics HVAC systems etc.
- Electrical and Plumbing experience
- Mechanical Maintenance

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND EMPLOYEE EXPECTATIONS

- Able to safely lift and carry push or pull objects up to 50lbs.
- Able to walk stand and work on feet for the duration of shift.
- Able to climb balance stoop kneel crouch reach with hands and arms grasp handle and operate hand/power tools or controls.
- Ability to work and contribute within a team.
