Under general direction serves as the Project Manager of the State Opioid Response (SOR) Grant; develops coordinates and supervises the development and submission of federal required programs and fiscal reports. Serves as clinical expert which requires specialty certification in concluding specialized reviews of substance use disorder treatment providers; conducts statewide but primarily northern region onsite quality assurance audits to ensure compliance with existing regulations and policies. Provides expertise in the implementation of the State Opioid Response Grant. Provides technical assistance in contract management and program and fiscal monitoring phaseup and closeout of projects. Serves as primary liaison to project steering committees and workgroups; represents DHS/SUPR in daytoday operations. Handles complex client program staff and regionally based inquiries and determines types of inquiry and level of services received. Manages all communication regarding the State Opioid Response Grant and processes and responds to public inquiries regarding substance use disorder treatment. Serves as working supervisor. Travels in the performance of duties.
