Job Description
Product Safety Labs is looking for a scientist candidate experienced in reproductive toxicology to support our team in Dayton NJ.
Scientist responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Setup and conduct experiments in accordance with Protocol and SOPs.
- Efficiently carry out procedures necessary to complete each project with minimal supervision.
- Prepare test solutions and diets in accordance with directions.
- Perform Dose administration mating procedures csection and fetal evaluations.
- Collect blood urine fecal and tissue specimens in accordance with standard operating procedures and protocols.
- Meticulously maintain precise records of all experiments in accordance with good laboratory practices.
- Assist in writing of reports.
- Follow all PSL safety requirements.
- Ability to safely wear a respirator required
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
The ideal candidate would possess:
- Strong computer scientific and organizational skills
- Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team selfmotivation adaptability and a positive attitude
- Ability to learn new techniques perform multiple tasks simultaneously keep accurate records follow instructions and comply with company policies
Basic Minimum Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of experience in reproductive toxicology or equivalent invivo background.
- Bachelors degree in laboratory animal medicine toxicology animal science or biology is preferred or equivalent directlyrelated experience (two years of directly related industry experience is equivalent to one fulltime year of college in related major)
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
Additional Information :
Position is fulltime MondayFriday 8 a.m.5 p.m. with overtime as needed. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Dayton New Jersey are encouraged to apply.
