Job Description
Drive digital literacy and computational thinking in our vibrant Newham school as a Computer Science Teacher!
We are looking for a dedicated and forwardthinking Computer Science Teacher to join our team. You will play a pivotal role in equipping our students with the essential skills for success in the digital age.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and relevant Computer Science lessons across Key Stages 34 (and potentially KS5.
- Develop students understanding of digital citizenship online safety and ethical considerations.
- Foster problemsolving skills through coding and algorithmic thinking.
- Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages all students to engage with Computer Science.
- Utilize technology effectively to enhance teaching and learning.
- Contribute to the schools overall digital strategy.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Degree in Computer Science or a closely related field.

- Understanding of digital literacy and online safety principles.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
