Inspire a deep appreciation for Francophone culture in our vibrant independent school in Newham as our next French Teacher!
We are seeking a dynamic and engaging French Teacher to join our modern languages team. You will not only teach the language but also bring the rich tapestry of Frenchspeaking cultures to life for our students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver lively and interactive French lessons across Key Stages 35.
- Develop and share resources that highlight the diversity of Francophone cultures.
- Encourage students to engage with authentic French materials.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where students feel confident to speak French.
- Contribute to cultural events and celebrations within the school.
- Keep uptodate with current trends in French language and culture.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Degree in French or a related subject.
- Experience teaching French at secondary level (or strong potential as an ECT).
- Native or nearnative fluency in French with a strong cultural awareness.
- A passion for sharing Francophone cultures with young people.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
