Sentara Health is seeking to hire a qualified individual to join our team as an Employee Assistance Program Counselor Licensed.
Position Status: Parttime Day and Evening Shift
Position Location: Onsite in Elizabeth City NC
Standard Working Hours: 2 8 hours shifts (Flexibility on days and times as needed. One morning shift and one evening shift required.
Provides direct service screening problem assessment direct therapeutic counseling client referral crisis intervention followup services and case management on an ongoing basis to clients seeking assistance.

Masters level degree
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) OR Clinical Psychologist License in the state of North Carolina Required

Sentara Albemarle Medical Center located in Elizabeth City NC serves northeastern North Carolina with a caring team of approximately 650 employees and 150 medical providers. Our 182bed facility features 25 specialties including emergency maternity orthopedics medical and surgical care in addition to our outpatient laboratory imaging and comprehensive breast services. In 2022 Sentara broke ground on a new campus a stateoftheart 88bed hospital to replace the current 60yearold facility on North Road Street. The 135acre campus coming out of the ground at Halstead Boulevard Extended and Thunder Road will be known as the Sentara Albemarle Regional Health Campus. It is projected to cost about $200 million up from the original estimate of $158 million due to sharp spikes in costs for building materials and medical equipment.
