Wilkes University invites applicants for the position of Associate/Assistant Head Coach for the Universitys Womens Wrestling program. Reporting to the head coach and director of athletics this individual will be responsible for recruiting and retaining studentathletes and administration of the program according to the guidelines of NCAA Division III the Landmark Conference and Wilkes University. The positions primary duties include but are not limited to academic monitoring practice and game management and scheduling. This person will also assist the athletic department administration with the daytoday functions of running the department with an assigned secondary duty (ex. game management).
A bachelors degree is required masters degree preferred. The successful candidate will have basic skills in wrestling one to three years of successful intercollegiate coaching experience; collegiate wrestling experience is also preferred. Candidates should have general knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations Landmark (or other appropriate) conference regulations/operations/guidelines; fitness strength and conditioning techniques; coaching recruiting and scouting strategies; possess basic computer skills and demonstrate proficiency in industryappropriate software (Front Rush Teamworks Slate HUDL).
