Within Amazon Advertising the Senior Ad Tech Account Executives are sales experts focused on developing strategic partnerships and driving adoption of Amazon Advertising technology products across advertising agencies and advertisers. Our organisation specialises in selling Amazon Advertising technology including our DSP APIs and cloud products. We build partnerships that enable our customers to leverage Amazon Advertising technology to optimise the customer experience exceed their business goals and navigate complex marketing challenges within a rapidly changing landscape.
The responsibility of a Senior AdTech AE includes building relationships with various stakeholders including CMOs CDOs CTOs Procurement and Marketing leaders as well as Programmatic advertising leadership across agencies and brands. You will be responsible for working collaboratively with other sales teams internally enabling solutions for marketers across our Ad Tech offerings and creating significant new business opportunities for Amazon Advertising. You will work closely with Amazon Advertising Solutions Architects to develop and promote advertising technology solutions for enterprise marketers. You will work closely with the product and services teams to help evolve Amazon Advertising technology offerings for more rapid adoption by our customers marketing departments and their partners.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the industry landscape with a background in business development enterprise sales or consulting; with proven experience selling and implementing largescale projects with holding company agencies at both the global and local level a track record of thoughtleadership on marketing industry trends and emerging technologies and a comprehensive understanding of SaaS companies and ad tech partners used by enterprise marketers. They should demonstrate an ability to think strategically and analytically about business product and technical challenges with the skills to build and convey compelling value propositions by working crossorganizationally to build consensus. Finally this person must have demonstrated an ability to work collaboratively to build processes and scale knowledge across internal teams to grow an organisation sales capabilities.
Key job responsibilities
Own relationships with AdTech decision makers at agency holding company and operating company levels in order to successfully build and maintain a sales pipeline.
Deeply understand Amazon Advertisings AdTech value proposition and effectively articulate that value to our clients
Own a strategic client development plan in partnership with key internal stakeholders (e.g. sales teams product teams adtech GTM marketing partner team legal support etc. that is built on the adoption of Amazon Advertising technology (e.g. clean rooms programmatic).
Manage complex customer relationships and initiatives with considerable impact act as a trusted advisor on an external and internal level.
Capture client feedback on business alignment and usability of Amazon Advertising technology organising feedback and collaborating with product management to drive scalable changes through to completion
Bachelors degree
Experience building client and agency ad partnerships
Experience with Clevel sales and strategic partnership building
Extensive years experience selling programmatic advertising or adtech
Experience growing a product to maturity through collaboration with Partner teams
Experience using data and analytics to drive sales strategy and results
