Position Wage: Hourly rate dependent on experience. Starting at $20 per hour.

Job Description:
The IQ Furnace Operator is responsible forensuring the safe & efficient operation of all Allcase cell scheduling work to be done inspecting loading unloading programing& monitoring furnaces will be the focus for this role. Promptly reportingany concerns to the shift foreman will be crucial.
Principle Duties &Responsibilities:
- Operator will be responsible for the following set up & monitoring
o Temperature controller
o Overtemperaturecontroller
o Chart recorders
o Furnacethermocouples
o Proper gas flowsincluding the following
o Natural gas
o Endothermic gas
o Nitrogen gas
o Ammonia gas
- Oil temperature monitoring cooling / heating / levels
- Agitation monitoring
- Proper loading & racking of parts to minimize distortion
- Understand tempering guidelines based off of actual AQ hardness readings
- Learn start up loading & shut down procedures for each piece of equipment in cell
- Operator will be responsible for overseeing the operations of the generator including the following at a minimum
o Startup/shut down procedure
o Daily monitoring of retort temperature& dewpoint
- Operations of cryogenic boxesincluding the following
oLoading/unloading
o Temperature controller settings
o Startup/shut down
- Determine proper inspection location for AQ testing per
o ASTM E18 Rockwell hardness testing
o ASTM E10 Brinell hardness testing
o ASTM A 956 Leeb hardness testing
- Understand Tagging & Transfer Procedure
- Safe & efficient operations of all production equipment
- Prioritize processing based on schedule
- Perform inspection using correct methods
- Document & report any maintenance issues to shift foreman
- Ensure plant organization & cleanliness
Minimum Requirements:
All hires are contingent upon a9panel hair follicle drug test & background check.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Acquire/maintain forklift certification
Experience: prior factory work preferred
