Exciting Opportunity: Oracle Database Administrator 2 (Oracle DBA) Hybrid Role in Austin Texas!
Pay:$73.33/hr.
Location: Austin Texas 78751 (Hybrid On Site and Telework)
Duration: June 2 2025 August 31 2025
Hours: Monday to Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (excluding State holidays)
About the Role:
Join our dynamic Administrative Applications Production Data Services team as an Oracle Database Administrator 2! This hybrid position offers the perfect blend of onsite and remote work allowing you to thrive in a flexible environment. As a Sr. Oracle DBA youll play a crucial role in creating and maintaining production databases optimizing performance and ensuring data integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Database Creation & Monitoring:Enter codes to create production databases and utility programs to monitor performance.
- Performance Tuning:Modify database programs to enhance processing performance.
- Collaboration:Work with programmers and analysts to implement changes and resolve issues.
- Data Modeling:Perform logical and physical data modeling design relational database models and create physical data models.
- Security & Recovery:Execute security recovery procedures and implement database search strategies.
- User Support:Provide technical assistance and support to users ensuring compliance with EIR Accessibility standards.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Required:
- 6 years of experience in Oracle database design analysis and performance tuning.
- 6 years of experience in Oracle database structures data analysis and performance tuning.
- 6 years of experience designing enterprise applications and/or services.
- 6 years of experience creating technical and functional design documentation.
- 6 years of experience within software development Life Cycle using Agile methodology (e.g. Scrum).
- 6 years of experience with multitier system/application development (e.g. SOA Microservices 3Tier applications).
- Preferred:
- 4 years of experience with data warehouse applications and/or database reporting features.
- 1 year of Jira experience.
- Oracle Certification.
