Opportunity Details:
Sampson Regional is seeking a parttime boardcertified (Family Medicine preferred) physician assistant to join its new hospitalowned practice Sampson Convenient Care. Sampson Convenient Care is located within a half mile of the main hospital and ER. With an average daily volume of 2535 the walkin clinic treats patients of all ages for a range of acute conditions. We seek a skilled and experienced candidate who is comfortable with being the solo provider and who maintains a strong focus and commitment to providing outstanding and compassionate care to all patients.
Highlights Include:

- Open 5 days a week: Monday Friday 12 pm 8 pm
- Provider may be expected to work extended evenings or rotating weekends as the practice grows
- Excellent worklife balance NO call requirements or overnight shifts!
- Convenient walkin care provided for nonlifethreatening injuries to both adult and pediatric patients
- Common needs treated include: respiratory conditions digestive conditions urinary conditions skin conditions lacerations and sprains drug testing IV fluids immunizations injections sutures xray (with radiologist looking behind) and lab testing
- Work injuries in Sampson County as well as followups with patients
- Assist with training orientation and clinical support for new providers advanced practice providers and clinical support staff
